The food is really good and so is the service

I worry about the cleanliness in BOH and how often they sanitize hands. I won't eat the dinner rolls because I question whether hands were washed before being putting the rolls in the basket. Usually I end up having to wipe down my own utensils because they're dried water stains on it or maybe even food residue in which I will ask for a fresh set of utensils. Food always is hot and tasty. Staff are friendly. Definitely PA Dutch so don't expect to get something fancy or out of the ordinary.

Nice little diner type restaurant. Clean. Great service. I had salmon, quite tasty. Others in our group ordered the broasted chicken and hamburger. Everything was exactly as expected. Prompt and well designed. Highly recommend.

We ate breakfast outside, a nice breeze and was served outside by the waitress. Very nice! Glad to support the local restaurant.

Everyone's meals were plentiful and tasty.They were all like homemade meals not the usual restaurant fare.

The employees were very friendly and nice. There wasn't much of a selection of food (I went for breakfast with my family). The food we did get was ok. The bacon was all burnt, the eggs tasted like they were cooked too fast and the creamed chipped beef was pretty tasteless. I don't recommend this place for breakfast.

It is a great place for breakfast with a group or just your spouse. Waitress and staff are awesome and the food us always good. 😊

we are local and decided to try it. the service was fast, which is a plus but it seemed far too fast to be fresh. average food and small portions for the price in my opinion. we were charged an extra dollar for a well done burger, which we were not even told about when ordering. when going to pay and leaving a tip, we were questioned on why the tip was “not much.” will never be eating there again.

Waitstaff was very nice but the quality of the food is another matter. My salad was iceberg lettuce with some red onion rings, a single cucumber slice and two grape tomato halves. The ranch dressing was watered down. The turkey in the sandwich had the flaky consistency of tuna. Was it frozen and then reheated? The mashed potatoes were watery.Got the picture?

It's a time capsule of small town diners from yesteryear. Their fresh pies vary daily and are very good

We were disappointed. First there wasn't a lot of German food. We ordered the hot turkey sandwich and soup. Fries were an add-on(not even chips?) but were hot and good. Turkey was mostly dark meat-other places it's usually breast meat. Pepsi and tea in small 6 oz glasses. For $25, not impressed. It was our first time visit, but not enough to bring us back again.

Above average food, very tasty, not saturated with oil and salt like so many family restaurants. I wish baked taters were available. Service was quick, courteous, and accurate. Dining room and restrooms were spotless. We'll most definitely be back!
